low energy lighting

hi guys i've got a question, did anyone notice that when they generate the certificate using the old software form it ignore the fact that you put in the low energy percentage and it just says no energy lighting, my assessor has eagle eyes caused i didn't notice it, has anyone else have that problem?, the new version of the software does it ok.

Yeah I seem to remember something like that. The software would only put either 100% or 0%. So if you got 70% for instance low energy, it would default to 0%. I have no idea if they have updated this yet on the software.

i've noticed the same thing. the old software only included low energy lighting if it was 100%. everything else was 0%.
All my EPCs with the old version had 0% energy lighting.

but they did change with the updated version. its more accurate now.

The low energy lighting thing has always seemed odd to me: on one hand you're assessing purely what is fixed- then you have to take into account lightbulbs which can be changed at any time!

The ones that last the longest are the ones outside. That leads me to believe that heat is the downfall of these bulbs. EVERY SINGLE cfl that I have ever replaced has melted plastic around the glass tube where it goes into the base of the bulb assembly.
